The role

As a Production Forklift Driver/Grinder at IPL you will:

1 Moves and loads hazardous wastes under direction of supervisor.

2 Cleans work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood and plastic.

3 Follows company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere.

4 Maintains forklift equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, recommending repairs and performing routine pre inspections.

5 Identifies and reports faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately.

6 Loads and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.

7 Transports products to and from warehouse and distribution centers.

8 Delivers products to various units in safely and timely manner.

9 Keeps own and adjacent work area clean.

10 Organizes and stages the regrind material for processing.

11 Prepares plastic for recycling.

What you will bring to the role:

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED

PREFERRED EDUCATION: N/A

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least 1-3 years of driving the forklift in a manufacturing environment

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Forklift certification
