What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate excavators safely and efficiently to extract, load, move, and stockpile aggregate materials.

  • Support daily quarry production activities while maintaining compliance with all safety procedures and operational standards.

  • Conduct pre-operational inspections and promptly report equipment issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns.

  • Work closely with haul truck drivers, production personnel, and supervisors to maximize productivity and material flow.

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas while contributing to a safe and efficient quarry operation.

What Are We Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively operate excavators in a quarry, mining, construction, or heavy industrial environment.

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, equipment care, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Ability to recognize changing site conditions and make sound operational decisions in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.

  • Capability to perform equipment inspections, identify mechanical concerns, and communicate maintenance requirements.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely operate heavy equipment for extended periods, while traveling throughout the quarry site, and complying with all company safety requirements.

  • Ability to climb on and off equipment, navigate uneven terrain, and access various areas of the quarry safely.

  • Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and occasional lifting of materials or equipment components.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and maintain compliance with all company policies and safety requirements.

  • Shift Hours: 6am - 4pm

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
