Additional compensation:10% premium pay.

We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others. 


We are seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician to provide intervention services as a member of a community-based crisis response team serving clients and families in Kent County.

 

This position is 40 hours a week, working 10:00am to 8:00pm on a four-week rotating schedule. The schedule includes working one weekend a month and has holiday requirements. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503, and within the Kent County community.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Master’s degree in Social Work , Counseling, or Counseling Psychology, or a Doctorate in Psychology
  • Limited or full licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker or professional counselor. Full licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed marriage and family therapist, or Full licensure in the State of Michigan as a psychologist; OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three (3) months of hire. 
  • Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
  • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.
  • Available for on-call services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (on a rotating basis).
  • For Network180 Mobile Crisis Response Clinician positions: Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
  • For GRPD Co-response and Kent County Co-response positions: Complete and successfully pass an extensive and thorough law enforcement background investigation and interview.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Full Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist.
  • One year of experience in community-based crisis intervention.
  • Specialized training and at least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Credentialed through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals.
  • Three years of post-graduate experience.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
