The Spare Parts Specialist is responsible for managing the lifecycle of spare parts across multiple projects. This includes collaborating with internal teams, third-party suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely availability and accuracy of parts information. Key responsibilities include maintaining inventory integrity, developing and updating recommended spare parts lists (RSPLs), supporting pricing and order management, and conducting occasional site visits to better understand customer environments and Dematic products.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $57,375 to $84,150 salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Supervise and prioritize requests for suggested spare parts among multiple projects.
  • Partner with outside suppliers to secure and validate lists of spare parts, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Build and maintain part numbers, ensuring strict accuracy within internal systems such as SAP and ERP.
  • Formulate, adjust, and circulate Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPLs) in alignment with project prerequisites and client preferences.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to produce niche RSPLs tailored to specific projects.
  • Support quote and order entry for spare parts and consignment projects, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Conduct site visits to gain familiarity with customer operations and Dematic equipment, enabling you to provide outstanding service.
  • Evaluate lists of materials associated with Dematic mechanical and control assemblies to identify suggested spare components.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for motivated individuals who excel in fast-paced settings and have a strong curiosity about logistics and supply chain management. The perfect candidate will have:

  • Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is helpful.
  • Proven experience in logistics, material handling, or industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with Dematic products or similar systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-drive and the skill to prioritize effectively in a high-energy and ever-changing setting.
  • Proficiency in deciphering technical drawings at a fundamental level to assess assembly components effectively.
