Stock/Storeroom Attendant

Creative Dining is hiring immediately for a full-time Stockroom Attendant position starting immediately.

• Location: 3201 Burton St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Evenings and weekends.
• Requirement: 1-2 years of experience required.
• Pay Range: $16 to $19 depending on experience

Job Summary: 

The Utility/Storeroom Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the facility's food storage and preparation areas. This includes receiving and inspecting deliveries, organizing products, and maintaining storage areas, while adhering to food safety standards. The role also involves supporting inventory management and assisting kitchen staff with food preparation tasks. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring food quality and temperature.
• Store items neatly in designated locations, following FIFO method.
• Organize and maintain storerooms, walk-ins, freezers, and refrigerators.
• Work with kitchen staff to ensure proper food thawing and availability.
• Assist with monthly inventory and report any discrepancies.
• Check invoices for accuracy and report any changes or substitutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and receiving areas.
• Sweep and mop storerooms daily.
• Report any pilferage or safety concerns to management.
• For lead roles, provide leadership, monitor operations, and report concerns to higher management.
