Do you enjoy life on the road, working in agriculture, and being around livestock? We're looking for a dependable, safety-minded Class A CDL Driver to join our team transporting cattle between ranches, feedlots, processing facilities, and other agricultural locations. 

This role is more than just driving. You'll play an important part in ensuring livestock are transported safely and humanely while supporting agricultural operations that help feed communities across the country. What You'll Do

As a Livestock Driver, you'll safely transport cattle while maintaining high standards for animal welfare, equipment care, and regulatory compliance. 

In This Role You Will:

  • Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations hauling cattle and agricultural products.
  • Transport livestock between ranches, feedlots, processing facilities, and other agricultural locations.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of cattle while prioritizing animal welfare and safety.
  • Accurately verify and document livestock counts and shipment information.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractors and trailers.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary trailers and equipment.
  • Complete driver logs and transportation records in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Follow all animal handling, transportation, and safety guidelines.
  • Represent the company professionally while working with producers, feedlot personnel, and customers. 

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Ability to meet and maintain DOT qualification requirements.
  • Strong commitment to safe driving and responsible livestock transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties, including climbing, bending, and equipment inspections. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of over-the-road driving experience or graduation from an accredited driving school.
  • Previous livestock hauling, agricultural, ranching, farming, or animal handling experience.
  • Forklift experience or willingness to learn.

Schedule

Work Environment

This position combines professional driving with hands-on agricultural work.

  • Work in and around livestock facilities.
  • Be exposed to varying weather conditions throughout the year.
  • Spend significant time on the road while also participating in loading and unloading activities.
  • Work around moving equipment, dust, dirt, noise, and other conditions common in agricultural operations.
