Overview
An Electrician 3 assists with installing electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring while following project guidelines and safety standards in oil and gas production environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wire, and supportsÂ
- Install non-complex conduit runs and supports with some supervisionÂ
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical materialsÂ
- Perform general electrical work, including pulling cable and wireÂ
- Understand and interpret simple loop drawingsÂ
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or EquivalentÂ
- 2+ years of electrical experience preferredÂ
- Valid Texas Apprentice Electrical LicenseÂ
- Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations preferred (training available)Â
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently without direct supervisionÂ
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and perform bending and stoopingÂ
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including the use of a respiratorÂ
- Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarmsÂ
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving recordÂ
