Electrician 3

Overview

An Electrician 3 assists with installing electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring while following project guidelines and safety standards in oil and gas production environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wire, and supports 

• Install non-complex conduit runs and supports with some supervision 

• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical materials 

• Perform general electrical work, including pulling cable and wire 

• Understand and interpret simple loop drawings 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent 

• 2+ years of electrical experience preferred 

• Valid Texas Apprentice Electrical License 

• Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations preferred (training available) 

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently without direct supervision 

• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and perform bending and stooping 

• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including the use of a respirator 

• Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms 

• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
