Job DetailsJob Location: Colorado Premium 29th St. - Greeley, CO 80631Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $55,800.00 - $195,250.00 Salary Job Title: Plant Manager Reports to: Vice President Operations This position has plant-level overall responsibility for managing both the revenue and cost  elements of the facilities income statement or P & L. The Plant Manager oversees the day-to-day  operations of business and the management of human capital. Under the direction of the VP Operations,  they are responsible for planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, development of staff, organizing  and decision making to support attaining desirable profit making results for the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  • Serves as the senior level manager responsible for the day-to-day production and operations of the  business that includes but not limited to yields, gross margins, scheduling, management of both raw  and finished goods, and human capital management. • Serves as the primary conduit for strategic communications with sister and corporate partners on the  effectiveness and continuity of business. Under the direction of the VP Operations, works to ensure  that overall company strategy becomes tactically meaningful at their location.  • Leads the development and management of annual income and operating budget for the location under the guidance of the under the direction of the VP Operations and directs day-to-day operations  to meet or improve budgeted goals. Escalates budget anomalies or risks and proactively acts to  mitigate them with guidance. • Coordinates the implementation and communication of programs to drive efforts that accomplishes established departmental and individual goals and objectives, including working closely with Under  the direction of the VP Operations on yearly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for the plant. • Serves as the champion of all leadership and engagement efforts at the facility. Drives the training  and performance management to establish an engaged workforce through efforts such as manager  and staff training and employee committees (e.g. Celebration, Engagement, Safety, etc.).  Demonstrates leadership in the retention of staff, reducing turnover, and increasing employee  engagement.  • Engaged in all efforts related to loss prevention, risk management, USDA compliance, and  employee relations.  Education/Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in management, operations, or business, with 7 years’ work experience progressive leadership experience in relevant commercial food operations, preferably in a proteinrelated industry or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. • Proficient in MS Office Suite, and knowledge of industry product reporting systems.  • Ability to solve a wide range of complex, multi-disciplinary problems that must consider short and  intermediate term company-wide planning.  Important Notice: This job description is a generalized summary of job duties and can be modified as determined as  necessary by Colorado Premium.
