Valley Medical Group is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Family Practice team and work in our Greenfield Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!

Position: Registered Nurse

Location: Greenfield, MA 

Hours:  40 hours, Monday - Friday generally between 8:00 am and 5:00 PM, with one 9:00 am - 6:00 pm shift per week, plus 1 weekend shift (4 hours) per month to cover Urgent Care. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.

As a RN you will be working independently to provide medical care to patients and support for families. Utilizing training and critical thinking skills, the nurse will collaborate with the provider to assure that the patient's medical needs are met in a timely and accurate manner. RNs work in a collaborative environment in a team setting and support the needs of the organization by filling in where necessary. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage portal messages, phone calls, and patient cases.
  • Follow nursing triage guidelines.
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and IV fluids.
  • Offer support and educational direction to LPNs and MAs as needed.

Required Qualifications: 

  • AS in Nursing
  • Current Massachusetts RN License
  • Current CPR certification

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Family Practice/ triage setting preferred.
  • Athena experience a plus
