To strenghthen our team in Greensboro, NC, we are looking for expereinced and dedicated Quality Inspectors.
Your Role
- You conduct random in-process inspections in accordance with established MM procedures and verify that required testing methods are used on th eproduction floor.
- You verify line clearance during and after production, confirm floor-facing equipment is available and within callibration, and review first articles of first sellable products for accuracy.
- You monitor quality, segregation, documentation, security, environmental conditions, preventive maintenance checks, and production controls during manufacturing operations.
- You immediately communicate out-of-control observations and significant quality concerns to production supervision, quality management, and plant management.
- You calibrate measurement and test equipment as assigned and maintain retained production samples and color standards.
- You review production samples and production flow documentation to support job release activities.
- You conduct Gemba walks, document internal quality concerns, provide immediate corrective training, and verify that identified gaps are addressed.
- You investigate production deviations and support resolution of customer complaints in coordination with Quality leadership.
- You conduct internal audits as directed by the Quality manager and audit site pest-control program.
- You maintain assigned training records and complete other duties consistent with the role.
Your Profile
- You will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You will have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Quality Inspector or 2 year's experience in a related position.
- You will have an Associate degree.
- You have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret work instructions, technical infomration, procedures, and production documentation.
- You have basic mathematical proficiency, including percentages, weights, measurements, and routine calculations.
- You have basic computer literacy.
- You have the ability to recognize problems, collect relevant data,establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and interpret technical instructions presented in wirtten, mathematical, and diagram form.
