Job Summary
The Bed Bug Technician provides pest control related services to the prevention and eradication of bed bugs.
 Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates situations by inspecting conditions; identifying additional problems; determining causes; analyzing treatment and prevention options; and executing the proper treatment
- Works with the team to unload, setup, and monitor specialized heat equipment and fans in homes and commercial facilities to provide treatment for bed bugs
- Performs detailed inspections to locate and identify pest problems
- Performs other pest control related tasks as directed (cross training provided)
- Completes records by recording the required information
- Maintains quality results by adhering to company standards
- Maintains safe work habits by following company standards
- Resolves customer dis-satisfactions by investigating complaint and identifying solutions
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Qualifications
Must be able to pass a drug test, have a clean background, and have a valid NC driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to lift, load, unload and setup heavy equipment (heaters, cables, etc.). Previous experience in pest control is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, moving objects, climbing stairs, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
