Job DetailsJob Location: NSC-Greenville SC KROC - GREENVILLE, SC 29601Job Category: Health & FitnessLocation: The Salvation Army Greenville Kroc Center - Greenville, SC Position Type: Casual Pay Range: $25.00 /Hour About this opportunity: Ensures the safe use of the facilities by assisting members in the area of personal fitness which includes but is not limited to weight loss, weight gain, nutritional guidance, goal setting, strength training, aerobic training, weight training and stress management as well as assist with the use of the various fitness equipment. Key responsibilities: Interviews members to determine desired fitness results; prepares personalized fitness plans for members and explains, demonstrates and monitors individualized techniques; provides feedback to participants regarding their performance level. Provides members with nutritional guidance by analyzing dietary patterns and recommending changes to maximize effort and achieve desired results. Generates accident and/or incident reports as needed; submits proper documentation to supervisor upon completion. Maintains order and control over members participating in fitness training. Obtains, maintains, and secures fitness equipment in compliance with acceptable standards to ensure the long life of equipment. Protects The Salvation Army by observing and preventing potentials for liabilities due to injuries; ensures the safety of all participants. Assists the supervisor by assessing the need for additional training sessions or rescheduling of daily activities; ensures the schedule matches member expectations. Prepares and maintains weekly reports of training sessions. Provides excellent and courteous customer service to members of the RJKCCC; maintains awareness of and promotes other fitness activities; encourages continuous attendance. Develops personal marketing strategy, including brochure and flyer advertisements of themselves and their sessions. Performs other duties as assigned  What are we looking for in you: Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. AND experience leading a specific group fitness program, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Final determination of this will rest with the counsel of supervisors.
