Job Schedule: 9/80 - Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.

 

Job Description:

The Aircraft Maintenance Associate will perform duties as part of a Maintenance Requirements team tasked to ensure accurate aircraft maintenance and inspection documentation as well as assuring fleet airworthiness by adhering to FAA, Aircraft Manufacturer and Engineering Inspection/Maintenance requirements.

 

Oversee the Production Control Station processes to include Planning Tickets, Mandatory Calls, Deficiency Records, and adhoc taskings to ensure accurate filling of paperwork to support aircraft deliveries. 

 

Assist in updating maintenance database information to include part numbers, serial numbers, and reviewing aircraft documentation to capture information required to update database. Work jointly with team members to capture possible configuration changes.

 

Works independently under regular direction and guidance on non-routine tasks requiring judgement and initiative. Contribute to changes in systems and processes to solve problems and improve efficiency.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Experience with Production Control Station processes.
  • Understands Fundamentals and Concepts of Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Experience with SAP (System Applications and Products) software.
  • Must be able to support multiple efforts with constant changing priorities
  • Maintain professional behavior in high-pressure situations.
  • Active Secret Clearance, ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Aircraft/Aviation maintenance.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • SAP Software (or similar)
  • Microsoft Suite
  • Quality Paperwork Process
  • FAA A&P License Preferred
