Meet the Team
The Compliance Department at Millennium is responsible for adopting, implementing and enforcing a compliance program designed to prevent or detect violations of applicable laws, rules, regulatory requirements and Firm policies. The team oversees policies, procedures, processes, systems, controls, surveillance, testing and reporting, and partners across the business to support a strong, practical and risk-focused compliance framework.

What You'll Do 

  • Provide ongoing compliance advisory support to one of the Firm’s largest portfolio managers
  • Advise on algorithmic and systematic trading matters, including model-based trading and investment and execution algorithms
  • Address compliance matters related to fully automated trading activity
  • Support the administration of the Firm’s global Quantitative Trading Compliance program
  • Monitor regulatory developments, industry initiatives and compliance updates to assess business impact
  • Assist with regulatory examinations, inquiries, investigations and related projects as needed
  • Draft and update compliance policies and procedures
  • Prepare presentations for senior management, deliver compliance training and conduct ongoing compliance reviews

What You Bring 

  • 8+ years of relevant compliance experience
  • Experience addressing compliance issues related to algorithmic or systematic trading at a regulatory authority, bank, broker-dealer or buy-side firm preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred, with a strong academic record
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail
  • Strong ownership mindset and personal accountability, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Strong project management capabilities and a solid understanding of financial markets and the investment lifecycle
  • Collaborative approach and a willingness to contribute to team success
