Job DetailsJob Location: JT Logistics Solutions 4201 S James - Grimes, IA 50111Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: First ShiftJob Category: WarehouseSummary: Reporting to the operations manager, the incumbent is responsible for the efficient flow of customer products into and out of the warehouse by receiving, putting away products, filling customer orders and loading outbound product onto trailers while monitoring and ensuring safety, product accuracy and quality. The job holder also assists in monitoring workflow, identifying opportunities for improvement, and resolving issues through communication and teamwork. The position acts a lead person and is expected to demonstrate the company’s core values of Create Amazing, Honesty and Respect, Communication, Teamwork, and Safety in carrying out their work duties. Supervisory Responsibility: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.   Essential Job Functions: Inbound Workflow (25%) Verify/keep records on incoming shipments and route records to processing areas Build orders and sort inbound receipts Use power lift equipment to move incoming product from the receiving area to the proper location in the warehouse Outbound Workflow (25%) Select orders according to preferred methods Load shipments onto trucks in a safe/efficient manner Complete outbound product paperwork Obtain product from rack and/or bulk locations Leadership and Coordination (50%) Work as a team leader to assist in all warehouse functionality Assist supervisors in assigning resources Provide training with deadlines for completion, lead daily huddles and other team meetings Coach/direct team members in the performance of their duties; provide frequent feedback Identify and troubleshoot issues and communicate to supervision for resolution   QualificationsCompetencies: Attention to detail Excellent keyboarding/data entry skills Adaptability/flexibility Good written and oral communication skills Strong time management skills Good organizational skills Strong leadership and training skills Basic arithmetic skills Ability to follow written and oral work instructions Strong computer skills, particularly using WMS to track inventory Qualifications:  2 years’ warehouse operations experience Must be at least 18 years of age
