YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse & Distribution Manager in our Guymon, OK location. This role is responsible for leading warehouse operations, inventory control, storage, distribution, transportation coordination, and employee supervision within the veterinary warehouse and distribution network. The Warehouse & Distribution Manager helps ensure accurate receiving, storage, handling, inventory accuracy, and delivery of veterinary pharmaceuticals, biologics, consumable supplies, and other materials while maintaining a safe, compliant, and service-focused work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead daily warehouse, inventory, storage, distribution, and transportation coordination activities to support timely and accurate delivery of medication, biologics, consumable supplies, and related materials.
  • Supervise warehouse employees, including scheduling, training, coaching, development, performance management, and accountability for safe and efficient work practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, expiration dates, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes to protect inventory accuracy and product integrity.
  • Ensure receiving, storage, labeling, handling, shipping, and distribution practices comply with company policies, safety expectations, biosecurity standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate standard operating procedures to promote consistency, efficiency, and compliance across warehouse and distribution activities.
  • Serve as a resource for warehouse team members and internal customers by answering questions, resolving operational issues, and responding to inventory or delivery concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, animal health, operations, finance, and other internal departments to ensure materials are available to support business needs and customer service expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety, customer service, and overall operational performance.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or related operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience, including coaching, training, scheduling, and performance accountability.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, distribution, transportation coordination, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, internal customers, vendors, and management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn and use warehouse, inventory, and transportation management systems.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Operations Management, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in agriculture, animal health, veterinary pharmaceuticals, biologics, feed, food manufacturing, or distribution center operations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, inventory controls, safety programs, PPE requirements, biosecurity procedures, and product handling requirements.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

SCHEDULE

  • The schedule is based on departmental needs and business requirements. This role may require after-hours support, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.

  • Primarily an office environment with some need to work in the field.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment varies depending on the work location.
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours support, weekend work, and overnight travel may be required as requested.
