Kitchen Associate

The Kitchen Associate is a key member of our cannabis-infused product production team. This role is responsible for preparing, dosing, dispensing, bottling, packaging, and quality control for a variety of edible and topical cannabis products.

Your role in caring for our products:

  • The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Operating machinery including candy packaging, candy depositor, and capsule bottler machine.
  • Prepping ingredients required for topical and edible products.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Cleaning, organizing, Quality Control.
  • Dispensing topicals into appropriate containers.
  • Dispensing edibles using semi-automatic dispenser.
  • Counting, topping, sanding, or otherwise further processing edible products.
  • Hand packaging, sealing, and labeling of infused products.
  • Maintaining food safety standards.
  • Performing inventory counts.

All other duties as necessary.

Qualifications we ask you to have:

  • High School degree/GED preferred.
  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.

Work-Schedule/Location:

  • On-site 5 days a week

  • This role will ask that you sit, walk, bend, and reach throughout your entire shift. There may be days where you stand the entire day, sit the entire day, etc. Please be flexible as needs will change.
  • This role is similar to an assembly line in that it will be completing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
  • You will be asked to carry loads of up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
  • This position requires arm extending, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small consumable items.
  • As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.
  • Employees are required to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants. DCM will provide scrubs, gloves, and hair nets to all employees.
