Project Manager – Plumbing

Description 

T.A. Woods is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Plumbing to join our team. We’re looking for a skilled project management professional with a strong background in commercial plumbing and construction who can successfully manage projects from pre-construction through completion. 

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and confident working with clients, general contractors, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors. This position plays a key role in keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with T.A. Woods’ standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do: 

• Manage commercial plumbing projects from planning and pre-construction through completion 
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines 
• Coordinate with general contractors, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel 
• Review construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements 
• Track project progress, costs, materials, and labor 
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation 
• Identify potential issues and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward 
• Communicate project expectations, updates, and changes effectively with all stakeholders 
• Work closely with Plumbing Foremen and field teams to ensure efficient project execution 
• Ensure work meets project specifications, applicable codes, safety requirements, and quality standards 
• Assist with estimating, budgeting, and project planning as needed 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and project partners 
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced construction environment 

What You’ll Bring: 

• Previous project management experience in commercial construction 
• Strong background in commercial plumbing 
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, construction processes, and industry standards 
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications 
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills 
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities 
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously 
• Proficiency with construction/project management software is a plus 
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
