AAA Tidewater is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing Car Care team. As a Technician, you will perform complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles while providing exceptional service to our members and customers.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including electrical, drivability, engine performance, and advanced vehicle systems.
Perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Service and repair brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, exhaust systems, drivetrains, alignments, tires, fuel systems, and HVAC systems.
Utilize diagnostic software and repair information systems to identify repair needs and determine parts and labor requirements.
Conduct state safety inspections as required.
Collaborate with Service Advisors and management to communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and vehicle status.
Mentor and assist junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
State Inspection License.
Extensive automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and computerized vehicle systems.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Preferred:
ASE Master Technician Certification.
Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting experience.
Experience mentoring and training other technicians.

The flat rate range for this position is $28.47 ā $36.75. Actual earnings may vary based on experience, productivity, and performance. Automotive Technicians who meet established performance goals currently earn an average annual income between $60,700 and $74,100 with the opportunity of uncapped commissions.
