Job DetailsJob Location: Central Valley Meat Company Inc - HANFORD, CA 93230Salary Range: $21.00 - $21.00 HourlyWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Raw Material Unloader to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in the efficient unloading of raw products into the plant’s pits, ensuring continuous production flow, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plant operations, equipment, and safety regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring timely unloading of materials, adhering to company protocols, and maintaining communication with various departments. Work schedule: Monday through Friday and some weekends, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Daily Responsibilities: Unload raw materials into the designated pits. Ensure pits remain full to avoid production delays. Drain trailers prior to dumping to prevent contamination. Inspect raw material trailers for foreign materials before and during the dumping process. Maintain clear communication with the cooker operator to notify them of low product levels or slow delivery of trucks. Keep drivers informed of which trailers are empty and ready to return to the supplier’s facility. Coordinate with management on any issues related to the raw material delivery and unloading process. Understand the operation of all related equipment and identify potential issues before involving maintenance. Follow all company safety protocols and adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety, and operational guidelines. Maintain a clean working environment, ensuring the area is tidy and free of debris. Manage the wastewater skimmer and ensure proper disposal of waste. Wash trailers and tires before exiting the premises to prevent track-out. Qualifications  Must have driving experience Strong communication skills for interacting with drivers, operators, and management. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Must be detail-oriented and organized to manage paperwork and operations efficiently. Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments, including handling heavy materials. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Must be comfortable working around moving equipment and trucks.   Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a setting with exposure to strong odors, high temperatures, loud noise, and varying environmental conditions.
