About the Role
As an RN at Ingalls, you'll coordinate and deliver direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practice, working alongside physicians and an interdisciplinary care team. You'll serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and leader while helping shape a culture of excellence in patient care.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate with physicians to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and outcomes
- Perform advanced nursing skills and appropriately delegate care based on unit-specific competencies and patient age
- Monitor and support quality of care and patient satisfaction
- Lead daily unit operations in partnership with the Patient Care Team
- Proactively meet the needs of patients, families, and physicians, exceeding expectations through strong customer relations
- Uphold hospital policies, standards of care, and corporate compliance requirements

Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license through the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (or valid temporary permit)
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
