Parts Associate

Job Overview:

At Nelson Tractor Company, we believe great customer service starts with great people. We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Parts Associate who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and being part of a team that works hard and supports each other.

This position is a mix of customer service, parts sales, inventory support, and helping keep daily operations moving smoothly. Whether you’re assisting a farmer, contractor, homeowner, or technician, you’ll play an important role in helping customers get what they need and back to work quickly.

Experience in equipment or automotive parts is helpful, but attitude, communication, and willingness to learn matter just as much.

What You’ll Do:

• Help customers identify and purchase the correct parts and accessories
• Answer phones and assist walk-in customers professionally and promptly
• Process parts invoices, payments, returns, and special orders accurately
• Support technicians and service department parts needs
• Assist with inventory organization, stocking, receiving, and cycle counts
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly parts department
• Communicate with customers on order updates, availability, and timelines
• Work closely with team members across departments to solve customer issues

What We’re Looking For:

• Friendly attitude and strong customer service skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn equipment, parts systems, and dealership processes
• Previous parts, retail, equipment, automotive, or dealership experience is a plus, but not required
