Vascular Ultrasound Tech - Heart & Vascular

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vascular Ultrasound Tech performs all non-invasive vascular examinations; ensures all vascular examinations are performed and reports are delivered on a timely basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program
• Must be registered in vascular sonography by ARDMS or CCI, or registry eligible
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Previous vascular ultrasound experience recommended, but not required
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret ultrasound images
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and adjust setting to obtain diagnostic results
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
