Job Overview: As an Armored Driver Guard Lead, you work with your team to ensure the safe and secure pickup and delivery of cash, coin, and valuables. This position serves as a team leader and assists Operation Supervisors and the Operation Manager with the daily operations of the Transportation Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving automatic and/or standard shift vehicles from 8,000 to 36,000 pounds a minimum of 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, in accordance with a designated route, making stops at a minimum of 30 customer locations.
- Servicing ATM machines on a set schedule, including resupplying, replenishing, retrieving deposits, and monetarily balancing the machine.
- Picking up/delivering customer change orders/deposits, carrying a minimum of 50 pounds by hand or up to several hundred pounds by cart, a minimum of 30 stops per day for a minimum of 4-5 hours, 5 days per week.
- Loading/unloading vehicle cargo consisting of multiple bags and boxes of coins, weighing as much as 50 pounds per item, 5-6 days per week.
- Counting items, recording amounts and serial numbers, signing and dating receipts and manifests, and sorting individual cargo items by route.
- Other duties assigned.
Primary Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age.
- At least a 3-year driving record.
- Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate via US Department of Transportation-approved medical examiners.
- A valid firearm permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements may be required.

Essential Functions & Working Conditions:
- Full-time schedule potentially consisting of an average of 40 to 50 hours/week, with a minimum of 5 days during a 6-day period. Occasional weekend work
- Approximately 90-95 percent of work is performed in air-conditioned vehicles within individual compartments (front and rear)
*As part of the qualification process for the Armored Driver Guard Lead position, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required. This evaluation requires the successful completion of testing in the areas below.*
Lift:
- 25lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 66 inches from the floor (1X)
Lift-Carry:
- 18lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches from the floor, and horizontally transfer 15ft (4X)
- 18lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 300ft (1X)
- 50lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 2ft (2X)
Push-Pull:
- Horizontally transfer 47lbs of force on a sled (single, non-dominant arm), a distance of 1ft (2X)
Climb:
- Ascend / Descend a step with heights of 16. 21 & 24 inches from the floor (10X)
