Sandvik Machining Solutions in Hebron, KY is looking for a 

Warehouse Team Lead – 1:30 PM shift Monday through Friday

Starting Pay: $24 - 27/hour (includes shift differential)

Sandvik Machining Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global market-leading manufacturer of tools and tooling systems for advanced industrial metal cutting. Products are manufactured in cemented carbide and other hard materials such as diamond, cubic boron nitride and special ceramics. 

Key performance areas 

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for departmental processing from internal and external suppliers.  Assigning work within team based on facility objectives.  Working within the guidelines of all established ADC policies and procedures.  Performing in accordance with established targets and objectives, including but not limited to safety, productivity, quality, attendance and on time shipping performance.   

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility to monitor on an established basis; ADC operations, procedures and employees to ensure quality, service and productivity objectives are met. 

  • Work with Warehouse Team to appropriately assign staff based on overall facility needs. 

  • Partner with leadership to identify, implement and drive process improvements for facility.

  • Ensure proper training and documentation of warehouse personnel whenever a procedure or process is implemented or changed where directed. 

  • Ensure accurate receiving of incoming goods from internal and external suppliers. 

  • Responsible to accurate count of inventory and verify items and quantities when doing cycle counting. 

  • Responsible for the accurate reporting of discrepancies to proper personnel and ensuring that receipts are processed according to all Tooling ADC policies and procedures. 

  • Responsible for reporting any and all non-conformances. 

  • Ensure all activities & operations are carried out in accordance with local & corporate policies, business ethics and in compliance with company rules & guidelines, statutory regulations and laws. 

  • Shall perform other functions as assigned. 

Your profile

The Warehouse Team Lead must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. You have a strong knowledge of WMS systems and ISO systems. Team Leads must be able to lead others and partner with leadership to address operational and employee issues. 

  • Team Leaders must possess computer knowledge, are team driven, result oriented and you have a flexible work schedule.

  • Ability to work with automation to process work.
