Job Summary
The Final Assembly Technician is an entry-level position responsible for assembling and inspecting ruggedized computer systems under direct supervision. This role supports company goals by ensuring that components are correctly assembled to meet quality and delivery standards. Key functions include learning and following work instructions, reading drawing, performing basic troubleshooting, and supporting a clean and safe work environment.Â
Essential FunctionsÂ
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components using standard work instructions.Â
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation.Â
- Follow all safety guidelines and report hazards or near misses.Â
- Accurately record time, material usage, and issues in Epicor and VKS.Â
- Perform basic troubleshooting with limited assistance.Â
- Scope and ComplexityÂ
- Perform tasks with limited autonomy; relies on guidance from leads and supervisors.Â
- No direct decision-making authority follows established procedures and work instructions.Â
- May assist with team-based builds or small projects.Â
- Tools, Technology, or Equipment UsedÂ
- Epicor, VKS, Microsoft Teams, Email, IMÂ
- Hand tools, barcode scanners, multimetersÂ
- Intranet, SOPs, and company training systems (CABEM)Â
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesÂ
- Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical assembly processesÂ
- Understanding of company policies and safety practicesÂ
- Familiarity with IPC-610/620 standards (through certification)Â
- Time tracking in EpicorÂ
- Basic computer navigation and use of VKSÂ
- Effective verbal communication with teamÂ
- Ability to follow work instructions accuratelyÂ
- Ability to work independently on simple tasks and within a team settingÂ
- Ability to accept feedback and learn continuouslyÂ
Required Qualifications Â
- Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)Â
- Education requirements: GED/High School DiplomaÂ

Working ConditionsÂ
Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with consistent exposure to the manufacturing floor and testing environments. May require lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods of time.Â
