Such therapy is designed to maximize independence, prevent further disability and maintain health QualificationsEducation High School or GED 2 year/Associate Degree 4 year/Bachelors Degree Post Graduate Degree Kansas License BLS Registered occupational Therapist with current Kansas License or eligibility Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy Program Current valid driver's license and current proof of insurance for vehicle Experience None Skills Organizational Verbal Interpersonal Customer Relations Analytical Grammar/Spelling Read/Comprehend written instructions Follow verbal instructions Computer Age of Patients Served Neonate/Infant (birth- 1 year) Child/Ped (1- 11 years) Adolescent (12- 17 years) Adult (18- 64 years) Geriatric (65+ years) Mental and Emotional Requirements Manage stress appropriately Make decisions under pressure Manage anger/fear/hostility/violence of others appropriately Handle multiple priorities Work alone Working Conditions Exposure to communicable diseases Exposure to blood and/or body fluids CRT (computer) monitor Physical Requirements Medium work- Exert up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
