How you’ll contribute 

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:

  • As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care to patients in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Supports providers with overall needs of the clinic. 

 

 What we’re looking for 


Applicants should have a current state LPN license. High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional requirements include:

  • Active North Carolina LPN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Previous Family Medicine or Pediatric Care is required.
