Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Home Office - CCC - High Point, NC 27260Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Bachelor'sTravel Percentage: More than 50%Job Category: ManagementThe Director of Quality provides strategic leadership and oversight of Carolina Container's quality management systems, product quality standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures the consistent production of high-quality corrugated packaging products that meet or exceed customer expectations while driving operational excellence throughout the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements. • Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives. • Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning process as appropriate. • Develop and maintain company-wide quality systems and standards.  • Establish quality KPIs and reporting mechanisms.  • Lead quality assurance, audits, compliance, and corrective action programs.  • Partner with operations to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.  • Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns and audits.  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.  • Recruit, develop, and manage quality personnel.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to handle or feel. • The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT • This job operates in a professional office environment. • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. • Exposure to wet and humid conditions in the plant environment • Exposure to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration in the plant environment. • Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
