This role ensures the consistent production of high-quality corrugated packaging products that meet or exceed customer expectations while driving operational excellence throughout the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements. • Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives. • Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning process as appropriate. • Develop and maintain company-wide quality systems and standards. • Establish quality KPIs and reporting mechanisms. • Lead quality assurance, audits, compliance, and corrective action programs. • Partner with operations to reduce defects, scrap, and rework. • Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns and audits. • Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. • Recruit, develop, and manage quality personnel. PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to handle or feel. • The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT • This job operates in a professional office environment. • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. • Exposure to wet and humid conditions in the plant environment • Exposure to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration in the plant environment. • Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
