Responsibilities

Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.

The Manager of Outpatient Services assists the Director to complete designated operational tasks and provides oversight for all adolescent programs and practitioners. The Manager conducts the step-down program on the adolescent units and meets with appropriate candidates for adolescent IOP/PHP to facilitate care coordination; conducting evaluations for new patients, assisting therapists with documentation.  In addition, this position provides direct support to adolescent programs and practitioners, patients and families.  Finally, this position will cover IOP's when the therapists are on PTO or call in sick.

Qualifications

Requirements:

 

Education: Master’s degree in social work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Marriage & Family Therapy required.

Experience: 2 years of providing direct behavioral health care required.  Experience with high acuity mental health populations preferred.  Experience facilitating therapy and psychoeducational groups preferred.  Experience providing clinical supervision preferred.

Licensure:  LCSW or LPC required
