Job Description:Â
Intel is a world leader in semiconductor innovation, driving the future of computing and artificial intelligence. With a mission to create world-changing technology that enriches the lives of every person on earth, Intel operates some of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in the world. Our Oregon campuses — located at Gordon Moore Park (Ronler Acres) and Aloha — are at the heart of Intel's global manufacturing operations, representing decades of engineering excellence and innovation.
Intel's Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) team is the backbone of our 24x7 manufacturing and foundry operations, ensuring the seamless automated delivery and storage of materials across our state-of-the-art fabrication facilities. We are looking for a motivated and skilled AMHS Equipment Technician to join our dedicated team of technicians, engineers, and managers in Hillsboro and Aloha, Oregon. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping Intel's manufacturing operations running at peak performance by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our AMHS infrastructure — the "heartbeat and blood flow" of the fab.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor AMHS operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, proactively detecting and responding to system issues to ensure continuous manufacturing flow
Perform timely electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues in electromechanical equipment
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on all AMHS equipment and sub-assemblies, including setup and calibration
Log system problems and errors accurately in designated databases, maintaining detailed and precise records
Respond to escalations in partnership with Manufacturing Service Desks, Equipment Engineering teams, and other key stakeholders
Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment in accordance with layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, and technical drawings
Provide project support for AMHS installation and modification projects as required
Collaborate with AMHS hardware engineers and product owners to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges
Serve as a buddy, trainer, and/or certifier for team members, contributing to the development of training materials
Achieve and maintain L3 and advanced equipment certification milestones through established training processes
Uphold Intel's Safety and Quality Culture standards, acting as a role model for work ethics and results
Demonstrate flexibility to rotate across shifts to support staffing and organizational needs
As a Successful Candidate, You Will Bring:
