The Mission

As Lead Painter, you’ll keep RMC Resort Management’s resort homes and shared spaces looking sharp, welcoming, and guest-ready. Your work protects surfaces, elevates first impressions, and helps every stay feel effortless.

Key responsibilities
- Prep surfaces (clean, patch, sand, prime) and apply paint/stain/finishes with consistent quality
- Protect adjacent areas; maintain neat, safe worksites and proper cleanup
- Inspect completed work, touch up as needed, and document materials used
- Coordinate with housekeeping/front desk to minimize guest disruption
- Maintain tools, ladders, and paint inventory; follow safety standards

Required skills & qualifications
- Prior painting experience; hospitality/resort or property management exposure preferred
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer-friendly communication
- Physical ability for lifting, ladders, and extended standing; flexible schedule as needed

A Day in Color

You kick off onsite in Hilton Head Island with a quick look at the day’s work orders and the spaces that need to shine. After staging drop cloths and setting up your area, you move room-to-room or project-to-project, keeping an eye on crisp lines, smooth coverage, and that “just refreshed” feel guests notice instantly. Between coats, you check drying conditions, swap materials, and communicate timing so schedules stay smooth. Before wrap-up, you walk your finished areas, handle final touch-ups, and leave the space spotless—ready for the next arrival.
