Charlie’s L’Etoile Verte is hiring a dependable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. We are a family-owned restaurant known for fresh seafood, a daily-changing menu, and a welcoming, professional dining experience.

Position Overview

The Dishwasher plays an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. This position is responsible for maintaining clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen areas while supporting the culinary team during service.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
• Operate and maintain the dishwashing station in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Keep the dish area, kitchen floors, trash area, and related workspaces clean throughout the shift.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep or stocking as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Work efficiently as part of a team during busy lunch and dinner service.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help the kitchen team wherever needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift commonly used kitchen items.
• Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is helpful, but not required.
• Availability for evenings and weekends preferred.

Schedule and Compensation

Part-time and full-time shifts may be available. Pay is competitive and based on experience. $19-20/hour
