Creative Dining Services is seeking a full time Housekeeping Inspector for the Haworth Hotel on the Hope College campus, in Holland, Michigan. The Haworth Hotel, a 48 room boutique hotel, is located at the heart of Holland’s historic downtown district and Hope College’s lively campus, welcoming people worldwide for conferences, vacation stays, meetings and more
This role ensures guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and quality standards. Inspects rooms for compliance and helps maintain fast, efficient cleaning in line with hotel procedures.
Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Ensuring rooms are cleaned in a timely manner to upkeep guest satisfaction
- Provides inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies
- Follows instructions from the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Support to the housekeeper's staff
- Able to help with housekeeping duties as needed
Physical Demands/Work Environment
The Support Services position involves working in a hotel/conference center environment. Must be able to perform physical work of operating laundry and floor cleaning equipment. Must be able to lift 25lb.
Education – Skills - ExpectationsÂ
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or inspection preferred
