Summary:

Tracking and organizing production materials on the production floor. Preparing materials for inventory daily according to requests. 


Responsibilities:

  • Support EOL (End Of Line) Production and shipment process
  • Coordinate/Inspect incoming and outgoing pallets to make sure the tray count, pallet reports are correct 
  • Learn and understand GMES system, ability to make/view basic reports 
  • Manage amount of empty pallets and dunnage, black skids, strap in the warehouse
  • Able to operator a forklift safely around pedestrians and in a congested area.
  • Perform daily checks of forklift to ensure it is safe to operate
  • Check forklift battery and charge when not in use 
  • Keep Warehouse clean and organized     
  • Support inventory process 
  • Contacting with Tray coordinator organize/help moving empty aging trays
  • Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position
  • Follow established work instructions 
  • Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements
  • Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements
  • Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required 
    • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
    • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
  • Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

 

Experience:

  • 1 to 3+ years of related work experience 
  • 1+ year of forklift experience 


Skills:

  • MS Office Suite
  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Basic math skills are required
  • Ability to read and interpret graphs and measurements 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours
    • Safety glasses
    • Steel-toed shoes
  • Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours
    • Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds 
    • Stoop, twist, bend
    • Reach overhead
    • Sit and/or stand 
    • Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
