Tommy’s is looking for a Production Team Member to join our manufacturing team in the assembly of high-quality car wash equipment. This role is responsible for assembling components and subassemblies using stainless steel parts, plumbing components, and related hardware in a clean, organized shop environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, accuracy, and consistency.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and production schedule. 
• Fit, fasten, align, and plumb components using hand and power tools
• Identify and select correct parts, hardware, and materials for each assembly
• Inspect finished assemblies against drawings and quality checklist
• Package completed assemblies per Tommy standard (crating, wrapping, banding, boxing,)
• Report any discrepancies, defects, or material shortages to supervisors
• Maintain required quality standard and build efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and standard work instructions  
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workstation and production area 
• Other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.  

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:

• Prior experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, plumbing, or stainless-steel fabrication 
• Experience with multi-step assemblies or quality inspections  
• Motivated and possesses a high degree of attention to detail and quality
• Experience using hand/power tools, and shop equipment
• Ability with dexterity to work with varied part weights and sizes  
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read basic blueprints and assembly instructions 
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation  

Work Environment and Physical Demands 

This job operates in a warehouse environment. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets along with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse / assembly tools and functions. This role operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation. 

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to: 

• Work and commute in all weather conditions 
• Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers
• Work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking 
• Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as keyboard, copy machine and printer 
• Frequently stand and move about inside fast-paced warehouse environment 
• Work with heavy and technical equipment, lift 50lbs, go up heights on ladder 
• Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times 
• Frequently stand and walk for the majority of each shift 
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50-70 pounds
