What you will be doing

The Customer Service Center Coordinator serves as the frontline representative of the company, responsible for delivering exceptional service experiences to customers through various communication channels such as phone, email, and forms. This person resolves inquiries, issues, and requests efficiently while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
You will become a front-line member of Service Center team that provides a blend of customer service as well as problem solving specialist for a range of customer requirements.

Our goal is to continually improve customer experience. Volvo customer Service Center utilizes different systems to conduct customer interactions via phone and email. The Service Center Coordinator role is critical in capturing the voice of the customer and strives to provide the best possible customer experience, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. 
You will report to the Service Center Supervisor, and will be based out of Byhalia, Mississippi.

 

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM office.

Responsibilities will include:

•    Act as the primary quality contact for customers, ensuring professional and timely communication regarding quality concerns and complaints.
•    Investigate customer quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis) and coordinate corrective actions.
•    Maintain strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
•    Analyze quality data, identify trends, and provide clear reports and updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
•    Manage customer expectations, build trust, and maintain positive customer relationships during issue resolution.
•    Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with quality procedures, and timely closure of customer complaints.
•    Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, customer focus, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    Investigate and resolve issues related to shortages, overages, damages, wrong shipments, returns, expedited freight, inventory discrepancies, and transportation concerns.

 

Minimum Education and Experience:

•    The ideal candidate for this position has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 
•    Two plus years’ experience with Supply Chain and/or Customer Service operations required
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is required, as English is the primary language

For this position, the base pay is set at $53,700 - $66,400 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
