STARTING SALARY: $79,400 – $124,942 Salary is commensurate with experience     

Job Responsibilities

  1. Support preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding activities
  2. Lead end-to-end delivery of complex transmission, substation, and large-load interconnection projects, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives
  3. Develop, baseline, and actively manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk across all phases of capital project execution
  4. Drive cross-functional coordination among Planning, Engineering, Construction, Regulatory, and Operations teams to ensure seamless project integration and execution
  5. Apply power system modeling and grid analysis insights to inform engineering decisions, interconnection strategies, and project optimization
  6. Manage hyperscaler and data center interconnection projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer requirements and load growth demands
  7. Ensure full compliance with FERC, NERC, and applicable regional/local regulatory requirements, including permitting and reporting obligations
  8. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, developers, consultants, and executive leadership, providing clear communication and strategic updates
  9. Proactively identify project risks and constraints, implement mitigation and contingency plans, and drive resolution of technical and commercial challenges
  10. Monitor project performance using KPIs and reporting tools, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability throughout the project lifecycle
  11. Support contract negotiations, vendor management, and procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.

Job Qualifications

Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate with or without reasonable accommodation that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

Education

Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

PMP and/or PE certification preferred

Years of Experience

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience required; level will be determined based on total years of experience.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  1. Deliver transmission, substation, and interconnection projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  2. Optimize capital spend, manage budgets, and control project costs while maintaining quality and performance.
  3. Achieve key milestones and maintain schedule adherence across all project phases.
  4. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks to minimize impact on project outcomes.
  5. Ensure full compliance with FERC, NERC, and other regulatory and permitting requirements.
  6. Build strong relationships and ensure clear communication with customers, developers, and leadership.
  7. Effectively incorporate power system modeling and grid analysis into project planning and execution.
  8. Drive alignment and performance across Planning, Engineering, Construction, and external partners.
  9. Maintain high standards for safety, reliability, and construction/engineering quality.
  10. Support large-load (e.g., hyperscaler/data center) growth initiatives and infrastructure expansion strategies.
