Description

We are seeking a professional, organized, and tech-savvy HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology, communicates professionally, and enjoys supporting employees and company initiatives.


The HR Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the HR team, including employee communications, recordkeeping, compliance follow-up, employee engagement activities, and event coordination.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistent, regular, and reliable attendance.
  • Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and direct them to the appropriate person or department in a professional and welcoming manner when appropriate.
  • Follow up with recipient foundations and nonprofit organizations to obtain summary reports detailing the impact and use of donated funds.
  • Gather and compile relevant information for the Employee of the Month program and coordinate with the Marketing team to develop and finalize published materials.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure timely processing and reimbursement of Foundation-related expenses.
  • Provide support to HR with employee communications through our HRSI Platform.
  • Provide logistical and volunteer support for company and community events as requested.
  • Support and follow up on compliance efforts, including maintaining required labor law postings and workplace notices.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files, as needed.
  • Assist with company culture initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Understand and follow applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to the position.
  • Collaborate with the HR Team on day-to-day departmental needs, projects, and initiatives.

Qualifications: 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and working with HR systems and digital platforms.
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and similar business applications.
  • Previous administrative or Human Resources experience is preferred but not required.
