We provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates who bring strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a willingness to grow into the role.

Essential Duties

  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure the reliability of equipment and facilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facilities to support manufacturing operations
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on the production floor
  • Perform equipment installation and relocation assignments as needed
  • Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including painting and minor repairs
  • Perform mechanical tasks, including vacuum pump maintenance and manufacturing fixtures as applicable
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order records; maintain the equipment maintenance program together with the manufacturing supervisor
  • Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition

Essential Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical background with a demonstrated ability to handle mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
  • Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn new mechanical, electrical, and technical skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production floor environment
  • Able/fit to work at various heights on ladders, manlifts or elevated platforms

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing maintenance or equipment repair environment a plus, but not required
  • Basic electrical or welding knowledge a plus
  • Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to become certified)
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed to support production

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0-2 years of maintenance, mechanical, or equipment repair experience preferred; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
