CDL Delivery Driver

Houlton, Maine | Full-Time

S.W. Collins Company is looking for a dependable, customer-focused CDL Delivery Driver to join our Houlton team. This is more than a driving position. Our drivers are an important part of the customer experience, representing S.W. Collins every time they make a delivery, load a customer, or interact with a contractor or homeowner.

What You'll Do

Safely and efficiently deliver lumber, building materials, and other products to customers.
Load and unload lumber and building materials using proper equipment and safe work practices.
Assist contractors and homeowners with loading materials at the warehouse.
Stage and organize materials throughout the yard.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked warehouse and yard.
Communicate professionally with contractors, homeowners, coworkers, and other members of the S.W. Collins team.
Provide the legendary customer service our customers have come to expect from S.W. Collins.
Work as part of a team to keep our yard, warehouse, and delivery operation running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

A valid CDL and a safe driving record.
A dependable team player with a positive attitude.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
The ability to safely handle lumber and building materials.
Someone who takes pride in keeping their work area clean, organized, and safe.
The ability to work independently while also contributing to the team.
Experience in a lumberyard, building materials, delivery, or construction environment is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
