Candidates must have an Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline and at least 2 years of electrical drafting/design experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, particularly AutoCAD Electrical, is required, along with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
Responsibilities include preparing manufacturing drawings, supporting engineering submittals, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
This position offers an opportunity for professional growth within a rapidly expanding company, with a salary of $50,000 per year.

Drafter-Designer

5K Power LLC

Design electrical drawings for panelboards, switchboards, switchgear, control panels, and temporary power systems while supporting engineering, fabrication, testing, and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of electrical drafting/design experience.
Proficient with AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical preferred).
Able to interpret one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, panel layouts, and control diagrams.

Responsibilities

Prepare manufacturing drawings, GA layouts, wiring schematics, and BOMs.
Support engineering submittals and drawing revisions.
Coordinate with Electrical Engineers and production.
Apply NEC, UL 508A, UL 891, UL 67, and NEMA standards.
Participate in QA/QC reviews and shop support.
