Stantec's Houston, TX聽office has an opportunity for a Chemical Engineering Intern to join their Water practice.聽Stantec鈥檚 Industrial Water team is a dynamic team of experts working across a wide range of industries including power, datacenters, semiconductors, energy, mining, etc.

The successful candidate will:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Have a strong interest in water, especially industrial water, and a desire to build a future career in this field

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Assist the local project delivery team with report and documentation preparation, project administration, and research assistance

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Develop process engineering deliverables including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, vendor coordination, etc.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Prepare technical project reports

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Assist with proposal development efforts

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Assist with resolving RFIs and submittals

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Be willing to visit project sites, participate in hands-on field learning, and support commissioning activities, if required

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Be willing to support a variety of projects across different industries, including semiconductors, datacenters, energy, mining, and more

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Other duties as assigned


Pay Transparency:聽In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.聽Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
