What We Are Looking For

 

Primary purpose:

  • The Executive Assistant will provide high-level confidential support to the Vice President of Project Management, Chief Operating Officer as well as administrative support to the Project Management department to include Midstream, Interstate SNG & TGP/NGPL, and Project Controls

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of administrative and general support duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature

What You Will Do

Education:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required

 

Experience specific knowledge:

  • Progressive administrative experience in a fast-paced and detail-oriented office environment

Competencies, skills, and abilities:

  • Must be able to timely complete work in a prioritized and organized fashion
  • A self- starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and organize, keep up to date, and effectively manage projects assigned or maintain up to date records that are on-going
  • Overtime may be required with little or no notice
  • Must be able to work with a team, take direction from staff, lead personnel, follow work rules, and adhere to established work schedules including vacation coordination (NIA)
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Administrative excellence including strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to identify and resolve issues/problems of varying complexity
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with various audiences both internally and outside the organization; discretion is
  • Fully proficient in using Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Word skills must be at an intermediate to advanced level
  • Requires a high level of tact and integrity due to the frequency of senior-level internal and external contacts
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement
  • Job level will commensurate with experience and knowledge

 

Physical demands:

  • May need to lift some files to relocate or assist caterers and vendors with food brought in

 

Working conditions:

  • Office setting

What You Need

Preferred education, experience, certifications, competencies, skills, and abilities:

Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:

  • College degree
  • A broad knowledge of corporate operations and policy, and high level of experience, discretion and technical skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of administrative experience supporting more than one Executive
