Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Houston, TX 77051Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayMaintenance - Grounds Supervisor JOB SUMMARY: The maintenance grounds supervisor oversees the daily maintenance, landscaping, and appearance of exterior property grounds and common areas. This position supervises grounds personnel, ensures equipment is maintained properly, coordinates schedules, and helps maintain a safe and clean environment, and professional environment for our staff and visitors. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintaining the roadways throughout the facility clean of debris; operating machinery that includes bobcats, backhoes, and forklifts Responsible for daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash. Observe necessary safety precautions Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed Responsible for mowing grass on property as well as using a weed eater QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years in groundskeeping experience Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience Knowledge of landscaping equipment Ability to safely operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other maintenance equipment Strong communication and team leadership skills Ability to workout doors in various weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
