The role involves assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. The nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient outcomes and enhance the overall experience of care. Position Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with current nursing practices. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring a compassionate and supportive care environment. Manage patient discharge planning and provide follow-up care instructions. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards. QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in patient assessment and care planning. Previous experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare team is preferred. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare-related software. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
