About the Job you are Considering

Capgemini is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated SAP Associate to join our growing SAP practice. This role is designed for early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in SAP business processes, application support, implementation, and digital transformation initiatives.

As an SAP Associate, you will work alongside experienced consultants and client stakeholders to support SAP solutions, contribute to project deliverables, analyze business requirements, resolve system issues, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers exposure to SAP business processes, enterprise technology solutions, and consulting methodologies across multiple industries.

Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes.  One should learn and develop the knowledge, technical skills and core consulting behaviors required to succeed in applications consulting, primarily learning an appropriate methodology and acquire knowledge of a business domain and a Package Based Solution. Flexibility and versatility should be demonstrated in meeting objectives, and one should be able to manage workload and update management on task progress. Certification: One must be working toward or have achieved certification on Saas or Package Based solution and relevant methodology.‹

Your Role

  • Support SAP implementation, enhancement, migration, and application management initiatives.Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and functional requirements.
  • Participate in configuration, testing, and deployment activities under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities.Execute functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support activities.
  • Assist in preparing functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, technical teams, project managers, and solution architects.
  • Monitor and track assigned tasks to ensure quality and timely delivery.Participate in knowledge-sharing, training, and continuous learning programs.Support process improvement initiatives and operational excellence activities.
  • Adhere to Capgemini methodologies, governance standards, and quality processes.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and business processes quickly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • 1 to 3 years of SAP, ERP, business systems, or related technology experience.
  • Experience gained through internships, academic projects, professional employment, or consulting engagements is acceptable.
  • Exposure to business process analysis, application support, testing, or implementation activities is preferred.
  • SAP certification or SAP training coursework.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA platform and SAP Fiori.
  • Experience working in a consulting or customer-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow, Jira, or similar project and ticket management tools.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $43,984 - $105,600

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
