This job is based in the UK, Successful Candidates will need to relocate to the UK.

Introduction:

This project is based in South East of England on the UK's largest energy project. There are strict requirements. In order to be eligible for shortlisting for a Trade Test, you must meet the requirements below.

Essential Requirements:

This job requires experienced Stick and TIG Welders. You must have or be:

  • Must be a competent Stick and TIG welder.
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • A Completely Clean Police Record/ Garda Vetting Record. You will not pass the security clearance without it.
  • Apprenticeship Certificates.
  • Your CV must be up to date.
  • Work History - must be up to date and accurate.
  • References.
The Employer:

Our client operates within multiple sectors including Oil & Gas, Construction, and Nuclear.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
  • Perform Stick and TIG welding on various metals, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Set up welding machines and equipment and maintain them in safe working order.
  • Conduct quality control checks and inspections on completed welds for conformity.
  • Collaborate effectively with project teams and other trades to ensure successful project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, complying with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Assist in training and guiding less experienced welders when necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Stick and TIG Welder in a similar industrial setting.
  • Valid welding certifications or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience working with various metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and carbon steel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed.
