Underwriter - CRE

Summary:
The Senior Loan Underwriter is responsible for underwriting commercial real estate loans. This includes reviewing loan applications, analyzing financial statements, and assessing risk. The Senior Loan Underwriter will also work with clients to structure loans that meet their needs.
Responsibilities:

• Underwrite commercial real estate loans, including reviewing loan applications, analyzing financial statements, and assessing risk.
  
• Work with clients to structure loans that meet their needs.
  
• Monitor loan performance and make recommendations for modifications or workouts as needed.
  
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in commercial real estate lending.
  
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the department's lending policies and procedures.
  
• Provide training and support to junior loan underwriters.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Fluency in Mandarin is strongly preferred.
