Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy program Experience: Prefer experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required. PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT: Must be licensed to practice physical therapy in state of Texas. Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association strongly recommended. Education: Associates degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program. Experience: Prefer experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required. SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST: Must be licensed in Texas in Speech Language Pathology with certificate of Clinical Competence. Education: Master's or Doctoral degree from accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience: Prefers experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required. SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT: Must be licensed in Texas as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant Education: Master's or Doctoral degree from accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology. Requirements necessary to begin Clinical Fellowship Year. Experience: At least 300 clock hours of supervised clinical treatment (as required by ASHA Plan A or 350 clock hours of supervised clinical treatment as required by ASHA Plan B). Prefers experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST: Must be licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas Education: Bachelor’s or doctorate degree from an accredited occupational therapy program Experience: Prefers experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required. CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT: Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant from A.O.T.A. and Texas licensure. Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited academic program for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
